Dr. Wild set up his medical practice in Brookline in 1823, shortly after graduating from Harvard Medical School. He moved into a house that still stands, albeit greatly modified, at 26 Weybridge Road. His son, Edward Augustus Wild, joined his medical practice around this time but it is more likley that Adeline's reference is to Charles Wild.
