164 Warren St.
This house, no longer standing, was closely coupled with 130 Warren St. as part of the sprawling estate of Charles Sprague Sargent. James M. Codman, Jr., son of Sargent’s sister, was a lawyer who never married and lived here from the early 1890s until his sudden death in 1925. His sister, Cora Codman Ely, was living right next door at 130 Warren St. and inherited the house. She had it torn down and a new one constructed in 1928 which was subsequently readdressed as 235 Sargent Rd. and still stands. She remained at 130 Warren.
