Joseph Bacon (1787-1867) and family lived on Park St., just east of Washington

Josiah Bacon (1832-1879), son of Joseph Valentine Bacon and Sarah Hopkins. He was later employed by a controversial dental supply company to enforce the large payments they required for the use of their patented product. He was shot and killed in San Francisco by a dentist he was pursuing.

Marion Hubbard Clark (1834-1909). Lived on Park St. between Vernon and Auburn streets, one block from the Bacons.
